Meet Lawaldi, a Holsteiner gelding owned and imported by Ms. Terri Smith of Dallas, TX. Terri came to Florida to meet Dolce last week (9/2/2010) and from all reports is thrilled with him too. "She moves with grace and barely touches the ground," said Terri. "I couldn't be more thrilled to have another beautiful mare in my life. I know Medea would approve." Medea was Terri's previous darling mare, who tragically died in February 2009 and whose countenance is portrayed so well in Lori Day's painting that graces our living room wall today.

Lawaldi's sire is the Thoroughbred, Laurie's Crusader, who is approved by both the Hannoverian and Holsteiner Verbands and has been widely acclaimed as putting on a great mind in addition to movement.
